     PE - HD500

The average molecular mass is about 500,000 g/mol. It is characterised by good rigidity and vibration damping. Moreover, the material is weldable. Half-finished products from CESTILENE HD 500 are available in its natural color (white) and the black color.

The average molecular mass is abort 4,500,000 g/mol. Of all the types of polyethylene with a very large molecular mass, CESTILENE HD 1000 is characterized by the most beneficial set of properties. It blends excellent resistance to grinding and wear with exceptional impact resistance also at temperatures below -200˚C.

    PROPERTIES

• good resistance to grinding and wear (especially UHMW)
• high impast resistance also at low temperatures (especially UHMW)
• excellent chemical resistance
• low density compared to other thermoplastics (<1 g/cm3)
• low friction rate
• excellent antiadhesive properties
• very low water absorptivity
• physiologically neutral (most types are suitable for contact with food)
• average mechanical resistance, rigidity and creep resistance
• very good electroinsulating and dielectric properties (apart from CESTILITE)
• excellent workability
• good resistance to high energy radiation
• flammability

    APPLICATIONS

Main applications of PE HD 500: inings of low-loaded transport systems and systems of storing loose materials, ground coats for shearing and cutting, tabletop linings used in food industry, sorters, cutters, feeders, batchers and other parts of machines which have direct contact with food, components of transportation lines (stars, sliding profiles), impact resistant linings, protection slats mounted on walls and doors (stores, warehouses, production halls), components of water treatment installations and waste-water treatment plants, low- and average-loaded machine parts, linings of cooler chambers and cabins and parts used in cooling devices.

Main applications of PE HD 1000:/STRONG>: rope pulleys, pulleys, chain wheels, rollers, sleeves, drift fenders, part sof valves and filters, slides, guides and chain adjusters, components of transporting, packing and filling systems, guides, lines, transport worms, star and feeder arches, installations in chemical industry, water treatment systems, waste-water treatment systems, linings for bunkers, grain elevators, transport gutters, ground coats for cutting used in meat and fish industry, ground coats for shearing, electroinsulating elements, parts of machines working at a temperature up to -260˚C.
